ANALOG MINDS
In 2037, neurochips are replacing facial recognition and fingerprint technology. Despite the advantages in terms of security, they are leading to a loss of privacy and cognitive decline.
To counter this, a club has emerged. Inside, the digital world is blocked out by a chip jammer, allowing members to unleash their creativity and imagination.

Within the club, analog technologies are developed and creativity is encouraged through practical experiments. Analog Minds not only preserves analogue techniques, it also pushes their limits.
Pottery objects can be enhanced with sensory elements for a tactile and olfactory experience. Silkscreen printing becomes immersive, with creations brought to life by an innovative paint capable of imitating different types of texture. Analog photography becomes more productive with direct development of negatives and special film rolls that capture smells and textures. The same goes for Polaroids.
Becoming a member of Analog Minds is an exclusive experience, with secret invitations hidden in cigarette packets. An cryptic message inside leads you to follow graffiti, that once illuminated with UV light reveals a stenciled brain. The invitation contains a code that enables entry into the club’s physical establishment through a concealed ATM entrance.
Analog Minds is also advertising its location via a single TikTok video, this strategy aims to engage a broader and less informed audience expanding awareness about the club’s existence.
